$10k AMV on ZCP at Vista BMW of Coconut Creek + terrible experience
I just had one of the worst car shopping experiences at Vista BMW. I saw that they had a M4 pretty close to my ideal spec. I put my info in online, got a call back and had a good conversation around specs, pricing, etc. Sales guy tells me they are the biggest M dealer in the US and will be very competitive on price with the deals I was getting elsewhere.
Long story short, their M4 ZCP models have at least $10k of markup on top of MSRP. The total cost of the 2016 M4 Coupe I was looking was $96,383. I speak to the sales manager who tells me that if I'm ready to buy today he might consider coming down on price and even that would require some kind of special approval. The guy also wanted me to fill out a credit application to go on a test drive. I didn't argue, I just left. Needless to say a complete and total waste of time. I'm not sure if I'm more upset about very shady and deceiving sales tactics that wasted 2 hours of my time (and my wife's) or the fact that they gave literally zero ____ about this whole situation. Not much I can do other than to share my experience. Do business with them at your own risk! On the bright side, if any of you want to pay 911 Carrera prices for an M4 this is your chance! |

I know people that work there, both CAs and Sales Managers, and I would never buy from them. i ordered from a dealer as far away as possible, lol, Steve Thomas BMW, and GOLFFRR , David Aviles, and Jimmy Bach took great care of me.

first off, here is my service experience here
http://f10.m5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1281883 As for sales, i met one guy there who was really cool. Couldn't make the deal happen, but still nice. Other than that, all the other times i went there to browse, i never got any attention etc. I was blatantly lied to by one guy who said one vehicle didn't have paintwork. I would never buy from there. And after the service fiasco last week, my m5 won't be going there either. I've never heard of so many negatives on a dealership than vista CC. Shame they are 5 minutes from my house. Get your car from Cali, south fla dealers SUCK. You will see this across the forum, if you read enough. |

South Florida dealers are pretty bad. They give a bad rap to all the other dealers in the state.
I've bought several cars from Fields BMW. They are legit. I'd recommend the dealership in Lakeland. Outside of Florida, I'd make a beeline to Steve Thomas and GOLFFRR. |

I have no issue with anyone (car dealers, consultants, landscapers, whomever) asking for whatever price they desire. That's capitalism. What I do have an issue with is using deception to get people to invest their time before knowing the cost. If they want to charge 95k for an 85k MSRP, that's their business. The consumer can just not buy, and if there's no demand, then the price will come down so says John Smith (father of Economics).
Now, if I were in the OP's shoes, I would have pressed the CA on the phone for more information. I would have told him how far I was coming from distance wise. I also would have asked him the MSRP on the car and if that price was negotiable if I came in. If I couldn't get those answers, I don't invest any time. I also dealt with Jimmy and David at Steve Thomas. David's price was on the table before I invested minute one. I've already stated this on the forums that their price is fair. It's not the lowest, but it's fair. The value I got dealing with them was worth it. If you do IND, use them, it's worth it to make sure it gets done right. Just my .02. Hope this helps. |

I just remembered, in 2004 when the 645i came out, they had them with a $30k AMV.

Vista is the absolute worst. Been there on a few occasions to look and try and strike a deal. I don't know if they didn't think I could afford the car, wasn't serious, or what.
No problem...I'll just go get my ~$70K car elsewhere.
