ZCP M3 Drag strip experience

I went to the drag strip last week & was pretty impressed

Running JB4 Map 2 on 93oct

Best pass was an 11.388 at nearly 122 and only 60ft that was 1.6 (I kept the best slip separate from others now its missing)

'18 m3 ZCP stock tires sizes Pilot Sport 4s 666m 285/30/20

I played with LC keeping it pretty low and most of the runs I let it shift at redline, I did try short shifting at 6500 and thats when I made my best pass

Temp was mild close to 80 degrees but humidity was really high 75% not sure how to D.A. plays into it

Probably going to try again with 513m 18inch wheels when the weather is colder

Here is a run against a Renntech AMG GT63s 4door

I had some fun tonight in my M2C. Catless with e85. No timing scores but I took down a hellcat on a roll. He destroyed me from a dig though. When using launch control, there’s a .5 second delay from when I release the brake to when it starts launching. And the 1 to 2 change has a huge lag. Any idea how to fix this?

If you get good 60ft times you should be at or below 11.3 if you play around with the Launch control RPM or have boost by gear adjustments especially in 1st and 2nd, I have ZCP and noticed I don't spin from a dig but all my friends that are non comp seem to have traction issues

Same day, Me vs M4 that was BootMod3 stage 2 e85 FBO he made a one pass in the 11s but the other 4-5 passes all 12-12.5 lots of spinning

Yep, that looks like me. Spin city and a low 12 pass. I haven't figured out the launch yet, but that is the key. My 60' is horrendous at 2.1 seconds.

nice run! I was struggling to get traction on stock zcp with pss best I got was12.9... need to work on better launch and faster shifting lol

car I raced was a fbo st3 m4 on drag radials

it was a 90° day with nasty humidity
