If I were you, I would hang on to that special V8 for a while still...but good luck with whatever happens.

I had an '09 manual E90 M3 for 5 years and 50K miles. I liked that car a lot but initial impressions with the F80 (got it a couple of weeks ago) mean I don't miss it even a little bit.

OP, I would not buy a car that looks like it's been beaten, there are too many others available out there.
I switched from an E93 to an F83, and regret it about 1% of the time. For the other 99%, love the F83. Cheers

'15 M3 are high $40k cars now OP. get one of those, put on full coilovers and 275 wide front and 305 wide rear tires and have at it.
No need to spend $70k++ |

Update. OP- i got a 2018 M4
So after a lot of hard thinking, I pulled the trigger on a used2018 M4 competition with lots of extras.
Love this car!!! Wow so awesome. I love the feel, turbos, M performance exhaust. 666 wheels. Jas marina blue metallic. So nice looking. 8800 miles when i drove it off the lot. Ive already done a few upgrades. Rear diffuser, high kick wing, paddle shifters. Ill miss my E92. But this M4, so nice...

The seat should be under warranty, so at some point ill have that fixed. Its got lowering springs on it, and who ever did that install should be slapped. One spring was not seated properly, one front shock was lose. Ugh people are horrible. But ive fixed everything and its %100 now. Love driving this M😁🚙👍👍

Steering precision and feel are quite a bit better on my F82 in an almost unbearable way as i can feel every single road imperfection through my wheel. I have it on Potenzas though which is what makes the massive difference. When i was on contis and Michellin later i would agree with all of you, car felt too luxe for my tastes. The proper tires transform this car, put on potenza's and come back to me about steering feel. You will wish you weren't driving on shitty roads like i am because you feel it all through the wheel. I imagine if you add camber plates, change out the bushings, with the stiffness of this chassis you will have machine gun vibration in your hands |
