after upgrading to these subs, how does it sound with stock speakers? i would imagine these subs would over power the speakers...

Actually no, just give it more bass. It has a sub controller.

I assume the box is sealed? Do you know the internal volume? If I purchase, Would you take a PayPal deposit so I can schedule a pickup?
