Nice car wrong thread. This is for 30th anniversary edition M3's.

True... However, it's under M3/4 and doesn't specify it's for M3s only. I was created early so by default it ended up M3s.
There was no equivalent for M4 Conv so I posted here... apologies.

You have a beautiful car.

Just to clarify, the 30 Jahre Edition is a limited edition F80 (see the first post). There is no F82/F83 30 Jahre.
So, the title of this post is self identifying.

It's hard to capture the color of the Jahre (Macau Blue), but it only comes in that one color, and all the photos in this thread are actually of the same color

Thats bollox and for all owners of a F83 in Macau blue I can tell you that they wont own a sh***y 3 series. No F82 thats correct.
If you need more pics of that blue, I could you provide with them.

I don't mean to sidetrack this thread, but it's interesting to me how BMW ended up offering this car in multiple colors.
My original understanding, and I may be wrong, is that the original M3 was only offered in the Macau Blau, and that's why they selected the Macau Blue for the 30 Jahre?

IIRC, Macau Blue was chosen as a tribute to the last of the E30 M3 Evos which were painted in this color. MOST 30 Jahre cars were painted this color with the exception of the 30 or so UK-edition cars which were silver. Pretty sure those were the only two colors offered and the country of delivery determined the color, not the buyer.
