I like that we share three of the same cars - GT4, F8x and E46 M3. Mine don't sleep in those accommodations though |

A man of great taste! How do you like them? For me the E46 was the first M and "really good car" that I was able to buy new and I have had it since '05. I sold it in '10 to a good friend with a gentleman's agreement that if he sold it I'd get first option. This was after I got an E90 M3. I bought it back from him after 3 years. He barely put 10K kms on it. The E46 is a lot of fun at regular speeds but it is getting to the point where I need to show it more love since it's a bit rough around the edges. I think it needs a cooling system refresh and a suspension refresh. The engine is golden. I am at 65K miles. The GT4 is on an altogether different level of course, but it doesn't keep me from reaching for the keys for the E46 often. And the F80 CS (you have a GTS!) I am about 200 miles away from finishing break in so my impressions are limited. I think it blows away the GT4 for outright speed, specially here at 6,000ft+ ASL. But I haven't bonded with it yet. I need more time.

the longer answer: of the 3 i like the E46 for driving in daily conditions. wonderfully analog, fun at any speed, classic gorgeous looks. of the 3 i get the most comments (and offers to buy!) on that one. it's main drawback is that it has trouble beating Camrys, lol. the GT4 is more modern, still a beast, but tractable in street conditions. probably the best all-arounder in terms of performance. but only for 2 people of course. the GTS is the fastest but a little bit numb compared to the other two. doesn't sound as good either. and worst for daily driving, although that isn't the point of the car. tbh i think you made a better decision with the CS if you won't see heavy track usage. i really do love your garage. it looks better than my Porsche dealership's freshly renovated showroom. |

A quick update, we have finally got most of the 2-car garage side cleared out to fit the cars. The 3rd bay needs the garage door to be modified prior to the lift being installed. Hoping to have all of this done by Xmas time

The garage mess after 22 years
My garage have been neglected for the past 22 years. We have been using the garage as a storage and car port. Thanks to this thread, I was motivated to clean up my garage and organize it better prior to taking delivery of my M4.
The clean up was significant but well worth the effort. Waiting for the Winter/rain season to pass so I can applying epoxy to the floor. Here are the before and after pictures. Can't believe how messy it was and how I manage to park all 3 cars plus 5 bikes in that mess. (1st 2 pictures) The bottom 4 pictures shows the cleaned up garage. There still a lot of stuff left but will slowly sell them at the next garage sale. |

I hope everyone went through all 34 pages to appreciate the car/garage prn on here. I was wondering if there's an EASY way to extract these photos to make a slideshow or a public album to watch on repeat. SO many good ideas and unique things to only look at once and I'd love to share it with some other car guys to drool or expand on. Hard to not watch these to want to redo your own garage $$$
Anyone have any ideas on how to extract these pictures? |

You can find most of it here, I added the JDM look 3rd brake light using a special high output LED to avoid getting rear-ended.
https://euroboutique.us/collections/bmw-f8x-m3 For the trunk spoiler it's a bit aggressive but I like how it has the pass-through hole in the middle when you wash the car

I'll throw mine into the mix. Pretty content with how I have it set up so far. Ideally I would love to have the parental furniture out of my garage, but I hate wasting money in storage.

My setup with lots of inspiration from others who have posted in this thread. Mine's a little different than most with the garage being in a heated underground spot.
