Why change the fronts? Wouldn't just widening the rears give all the traction benefit AND less understeer, greater ability to throttle steer? Maybe just add spacers on the front to balance appearance.

How can increasing rear grip without increasing front grip result in less understeer ?

Increasing front tire width would achieve less understeer. With a square tire setup achieving a near neutral balance. |

The 295/35R19 PSS is specifically designed for installation on the 10" wide rim of the F10 M5. If the sidewalls can support the weight of an M5 under load, I am sure they will have no trouble supporting an F8X .

Anyone know with this setup what spacers if any would work on a stock suspension without rubbing?

So I ordered the same exact set up 275/35/19 for front and 295/35/19 for rear for my F80 M3.... Tirerack called me immediately and asked if I was sure If I wanted to go with this set up as they advise against it I guess we ll see once I put it on the car.

please do. need more pics of this setup. seems like a great way to pick up more traction while keeping the stock wheels (which I love) and avoid using spacers to get that more flush look (I'm hesitant to use spacers since I've heard that highway shimmy is somewhat common). the fact that you reduce your odometer mileage by +/- ~2% is just icing on the cake
