i love the performance improvements but man it looks so riced out. i would not be seen in that car. park bench spoiler, awful wheels and that carbon front lip. no way! looks nasty to me. reminds me of all the Honda Civics rolling the streets around here. it would be fun do drive though!

You must have a time machine.

We're talking about right now. This car is setting the bar. That's it man.
Honestly it is setting the bar and super impressive once you consider this is not a ground up design sports car but based off a regular car. My point is that the c63s or ats-v shouldn't be compared to this the GTS is a whole other class of car as the track times, price, limited production, and extreme modifications show. Its a poor comparison against standard model cars with full leather, heated cooled seats, etc but when you compare it to other cars in this "category" like the w204 black series, gt350 R, current generation z 2/8 Camaro its the king of the hill right now.

Oh I really hate it, BMW has lost it. That horrible tuner wing, those ugly wheels.

I'd be the laughing stock at my local C&C!

Now THAT'S a proper limited edition.

I'd love to meet its little sister...you know, Two CSL.

I really hope they find some system to assure that these specimens go to homes where they will get proper exercise and care. In the end, money talks. I just hope they go to smart money, or at least money that cares.

And no one has mentioned, considering most S55's are probably closer to 460hp at the crank, is this still "16%" above that? I'd be curious to know.

The interior looks amazing, wondering which one has more fun on the mountain and track between this one and Cayman GT4.

Its not faster than a GT3, 991 GT3 recorded 7:25 as its fastest time. Maybe the record you saw was the older laps.

True....

But all of the above will still be slower than and technologically inferior to Alex07M3's E92... (wonder what that guy's up to these days... )

It's not rice when they are actual performance enhancements that make quantifiable differences in lap times.

Should the GT3 spec race cars loose their spoilers and lips because of some childish association you have with young teens in cheap cars? SMH.

I understand what you are saying but it is a halo car and it lifts the entire F8x series up. it is the same platform with some tweaks.

the news is huge that it is almost 25 seconds faster around ring than the regular production car. we'll see how the black series stacks up.

I am so in love with this platform. What a fantastic foundation. Any guesses on how much the PS2's shave on the time from a stock M4?

It's still ugly. I'm sure a non-frozen color will help. The mechanical updates are impressive though. Good job!

You've totally missed the purpose of this car. This is not the car to drive to Walmart or the Mall, it was built specifically for the track. Which makes all the body parts functional unlike a ricey Honda Civic.

Probably not. The F32/33/82/83 LCI will probably get a different style that they can all share. They don't want to "waste" LED on a standard 4-series update coming in 2 years. It's still a first-to-market technology.

Not a fan of the wheel color, why not just get rid of those orange?
