Plus I think that two-tone design with polished front keeps the nice concave look of the 666M wheels which you obviously loose when you powdercoat the whole Wheel in black. Might only be the case in pictures tho |

does satin black give off a plasticky look? I'm worries that the wheels might look primer/plastic black in person, but gloss black seams to hid to much of the details since there is not sheen to it.... 1st world problems

Well, I don't. Even looking at your picture, the wheel face looks to me like a darker shade than the silver 666M.

Even the BMW brochure (see my post#5) says that the face is dark coated.
