Yeah it’s actually a great deal even by pre-COVID measures! I don’t expect it will last long. They wouldn’t sell it to me tho since I’m out of state - 3rd dealer I’ve run into who won’t sell out of state

No reason other than “we are not registering cars out of state”. Pretty BS if you ask me. Had a dealer try to force me into coming down and never gave me a straight story when I was asking for pics and maintenance records, and when I called about the car they said it had sold. Still up on the website as available…

I have a second email address under a different name that I use to email dealers when they tell me a car has sold at a suspicious point in the process.

The M2 was a much more "fun" car. Just driving it around it felt very nimble and the tail always wanted to come out and say hi. It got quite addictive, if roads were quite just a little tap and you can wag the rear end pretty easily. Wife hated it, I loved it.

The CS has better (IMO) steering feel, it seems to take itself much more seriously. The weather has been pretty terrible (snowing again today) so I haven't really been able to take it out and stretch its legs, but right off the bat I know it won't be as playful. I'm pretty keen on getting lots of track time with it this spring and summer.

CanAutM3 - Did you run any aftermarket pads for your CS? Can't recall if you had CCB or not. Looking to get everything ordered just in case there's delays later on.

I was doing exactly the same thing yesterday. Installing, by HAND, the front clear turn signals. It was a chore, I was so afraid of pushing it in so... my CA and I took turns lol. I was able to disconnect it easier but my CA was better at pushing it back in.

It just dawned on me that BMW does not offer any kind of silver for any of their current models. Just Individual Rhodonite for the G30 and then Cashmere Silver, which is more of a Jewish Racing Gold than 'pure' silver. And then 50 shades of grey. What was wrong with Titanium Silver?

Took mine out yesterday, also alpine. Worn, heat cycled tires from track season. Rear toe out. I don’t give a flying fooshnickin; car is so much fun. This car’s steering commands the driver to interact with it. especially with the bilstiens. DCT is still enjoyably crispy after getting out of my slush-box cars.

Its very strange, Glacier Silver was offered briefly on the non Sport-Line G20's (not on M-Sport though) but now its disappeared. Some of the lack of color options is just strange. For example, you can't get Melbourne Red on an M-Sport G20, only Sport-Line which are ugly. No proper red leather either. It really baffles me considering Melbourne Red and Coral Red Leather were fairly popular on the F3X. Red seems like it should be a pretty standard color option.
