Tasteful exterior mods, really dig the wheel fitment. Hope you can sort out the other aspects and bring the car back in balance. Would hate to see another example where so much effort and $$$ went into mods while sacrificing performance in the process. Good luck!

What's wrong with those rims (heavy, wide susceptible to damage, Chinese knock-off) and the paint (dull clearcoat)?

Well that is a beauty. And you have great taste with the mods. But I must ask. Do you not get ANY heartburn from having well over $100k in what is essentially a 3 series? I'm debating an M3 to replace my E350 Bluetech and I keep thinking a used Panamera or S550 is the way to go.
Yet I love how the M3 looks. Have not driven one yet. However I've owned several M cars in past. Huracan now. I'm just blown away at how easily some of spend huge $ on new M3 then mod the crap out of it instead of getting a used M5, modding it and still saving $. Perhaps the responsible side of my brain is getting in the way of my carguy side. But at least I bought a new Huracan and it will depreciate! So I'm not ALL that responsible. LOL |

Wow! Looks perfect. I'm in love with your wheels as well just can't justify the cost of HRE wheels to my wife. Lol!

Extra props for debadging an M because it is a clear display of owner confidence. Consider this the polar opposite of someone putting an M badge on the trunk lid of a non-M car.

Question about Grigio Telesto. It's hard to tell from pictures, but is this a three step paint with metallic in the mid-coat or is this just a two step paint?
It looks amazing. |

As far as the $$$ for a 3 series, I know I could have had a lot of other cars but for me the 3 series has always felt right. Ive had a number over the years but this is my first M. I love how my car turned out. To me it is the perfect DD. I love how it is understated and only draws attention from car people. I considered the M5 but i have a van and a q5 so I didn't need the space. I don't get too caught up in depreciation. I consider it my entertainment and as long as I don't get killed I'm ok with it. The s550 and panamara are sweet but too big for my liking. |

I think I saw you flying down the DNT this morning with a civic on the way to Cars and Coffee. Couldn't get that color out of my head.
