F80 M3 Door handle reinstall

Hello All - After removing some wrap behind my door handle, I’m running into an issue reinstalling. The latch seems closed on the side where the door lock is. It looks like it needs to be clicked open. Any ideas, can’t get my handle back on lol

If you’re referring to the fact that you removed your handle completely out, there is a metal “flap” that you need to pull forward to get the handle to clip behind.

Use a 90 degree pick or loop a tie strap to pull it up.
