F82 M4 vs. 2021 Supra
Title is pretty self-explanatory. What would you choose? I currently own a CPO 2018 M4 base, 6 MT, close to 40k miles. Trade-in value is close to that of a brand new 2021 Supra. Make the trade?

Nah. Not until there's a manual available. They sound really good but that's about it.

M4 > Supra
I am biased obviously but the M4 has DCT / 6mt vs automatic, has a "real" M motor in the S55 vs B58. These two reasons alone make it easy for me. I see the attraction of the supra though, cool car, but at the end of the day, M4 takes the cake for me. Wouldn't do it personally. |

If your looking for a fast track car consider the Supra.
A guy with a new Supra with some suspension and engine mods is really fast with some of the clubs I run with. The car looks really balanced on the track. Let’s say the car is fast without looking sketchy.

I would pick M4 as a daily drive.
The MK5 Supra has cabin noise issue when you roll down the window, but I'm not sure if Toyota fixes that problem with their newer one yet. They are both good looking and fun cars!

Supra is basically a Z4 coupe, and that's not an M car... so not really an apples to apples comparison IMO. I'd say it leans more towards street comfort than a track car compared to the M4.
Might be nicer as a daily though. I drove a Z4 on track briefly, still a very fun sporty feeling car but less of an aggressive edge vs an M4. Test one if you can. |

Other than the lighter weight there is nothing better about the supra. Rather have a non comp m2 if you want a small bmw. Because that at least has a dct

I wouldn't do it with the slush box. Manual or dct.
