VRSF and AA Equal Length Midpipe Question
I got VRSF downpipes and a non-resonated equal length midpipe installed from a shop near me this past week. I noticed the rasp at 1500-2000 RPMs is unbearable, I was wondering if anyone else had this issue. I was trying to find a fix to the rasp, would I be better off with resonators on the midpipe?

Yeah I have very minor rasp with my resonated EL and it sounds beautiful 3K+. I can't imagine not having resonated and that sound being amplified. Ordering a set of resonated pipes is probably the most cost effective way to clean up the sound!

I think you should either switch back to stock downpipes, or get the AA resonated EL midpipe and see how you like it from there.

As someone who is cat less but is probably going to go back to cats for a bit is there a downside to resonated mid pipes with stock downpipes?
There is a good chance i go back catless in the future which is why i was wondering. |

The resonators in the midpipes do nothing to hinder performance as they are 100% straight through and only help with cleaning up sound.

Active now sells just the resonated sections of the midpipe for $500. I'd order those and try and sell the unresonated pipes here on the forums.
