best solution for M3 burble and pops?

Hi there!

I purchased a 2018 M3 and installed the AWE Track Edition Catback Exhaust. I love the car, but the lack of burble and pop needs to be fixed. Wanted to jump on here and see what has been successful in adding burbles and pops to the car? Any help would be much appreciated.

HotRodM4 told you how. You need an engine tune which in their case is BM3. However, I’m glad I have a ‘16 which comes with absolutely no burbles and pops.

best solution would be a mandatory factory delete with a crime of death for gunshot burbles or going catless and burbles

Some burbles good, a lot, sounds sooooo bad. I cringe even when any car does it now. unless it is just the engine doing its thign

Burbles are so stupid. Anyone outside of the car community hears your car backfiring constantly, and they just think its broken. It doesnt sound cool. Its lame.

I like my OEM ZCP burbles with the MPE, but I wouldn’t add more. And I know they annoy everyone, but I like it. I should get a modified sticker that some Priuses have that says “cool exhaust burbles” -nobody (Prius ones say “cool Prius!!” -nobody)

But leave this here (police open fire on a 335i, mistaking burbles for gunshots):

Cops should mag dump any car with a burble tune

I swear any 335/ 340 that tries to get my attention on the road does so by introducing themselves with an AK47 tune, not just any pops and bangs
