I looked into painting my Ferrari 599 model since I couldn't find one in my car's color cheaply. They're really rare so painting, I thought, was the only option. There are a bunch of tutorials on the internet making it look easy, but I don't think it's as easy as the pics looks. Luckily, I found one in my color at a local hobby shop for 1/10 the price of eBay! It was just sitting there on the shelf waiting for me to swoop down. Now, for the wheels.

Has anyone found a 1:18 M4 in Silverstone? I noticed someone said they ordered in a previous post but can't find one anywhere. I've seen the 1:43 but I want the bigger one.

I hope Hot Wheels releases an M3. M4 guys got it easy with a Red, Blue and now a Yellow release.

I have only seen the 4 series M Performance one in white.

The only 1:18 scale F82s I know about are the Austin Yellow, Sapphire Black, and Marina Blue all made by Paragon.

There is also a grey metallic F83 in 1:18.

The 1:43 scale M4s come in SO, White, Silverstone, Marina Blue that I have seen. I think maybe an AY also.

I have the Sapphire Black 1:18 and its very very detailed. Even has the SO interior. Exact match for me.

Picked this up at the mall a couple months ago. Not the best quality but good enough and its big, 1:12, i think. I only wish i could get an F80 version, extra points if they would make it in SMB/SO combo to match my car.

I got one of those a couple of months ago. Our dogs love chasing it and barking at it. Worth every penny.

I custom make many models, mainly BMW models. Here is some of the F8x models I've done:

Some still in progress so incomplete...

Some are stored so no pics yet. Have a line up of individual M5s I am working on too!

Anyways, here's some of the line up:

Tanzanite blue M4 gts splitter - still deciding on wheels
Java green M4 carbon gts splitter & ADV wheels
Atlantis blue M3
Yas marina M3 with performance kit

Have loads of e92 M3 models too, including few LB Performance M3 models.

wow!!!! any chance u can mass produce all the stock colors M3/4 for us? and individual builds? I think u will find lots of interest if it's at a reasonable price.

I guess I can. It will depend on the amount of interest.

These models are not cheap and I do usually charge between £250-350+ (including the base model) depending on the model that needs doing and if any extras such as different wheels, splitters, carbon bits etc..

I have a BMW collection of about 1200 cars. Except for a few models here and there, I have stop collecting because I have run out of space and don't just want to put them in a closet. I am currently doing a 1:18 of my M4 - converting an Austin Yellow to Sakhir Orange and changing the wheels from the 18s to 19s.

Not good at all! I started with the hood but even after multiple layers it still looked like crap and I gave up. Probably due to my artistic incompetence but I had a hard time getting the paint to stick.

Wow. If I wanted an Alpine White with just the lightweight lip and M Diffuser with M mirror caps, is this something you could/would do? Would you ship to NJ?
