Looks like they got some black grills, gills, and a sweet lip spoiler! I think this is one of the best looking lips! Hot Wheels, moddin' it right!

Thanks Scott - looks great. Do we have a release date? Any chance for a 1/43 scale?

On Paragon's Facebook page it looks like the AY M4 is available at dealerships. (May 2015) I called the local BMW dealer - they hadn't heard anything. I emailed Paragon to ask and can let you know.

If we could get a BMW part number, it can be ordered through the dealer.

I emailed Paragon to try and get clear information. I asked specifically about an Austin Yellow M4. They wrote me back:

"This is the colour that we produced and already shipped for BMW dealership, so you should find them there in BMW showrooms.

Kind regards
Paragon Models"

Hopefully soon!

So it looks like there's a YMB F80 from both GT Spirit and Paragon? Which brand is generally better quality?

I haven't seen an announcement that Paragon plans to release a F80 M3. Instead, both companies are planning to do a M4 convertible. There are some differences between the two. GT Spirit makes great curbside resin models (the hood and doors don't open) while Paragon models are die cast with opening doors, hood and trunk. I think the quality differences are a result of the medium and features. But, I agree with others that the Paragon models, while nice, aren't as nice as the ones from Kyosho. But Kyosho isn't making the F8x series either (or yet).

Ah, I must have misunderstood. I had thought that the F80 posted on this page and the one a couple pages ago were different models but looking at the details it does appear they're the same.

Still no idea where I can get a diecast F80, is it for sale yet?

The only model on an F80 I've seen is from GT Spirit but they probably won't release it until after the M4 convertible in August.

You can buy directly from GT Spirit (http://gts-models.com/en/). I also get them off of Ebay.

No shit. It seems like it is impossible to get these. All I want is an F82, black, preferably 1/18
