So the noise stops when you remove the oil filler cap? If so then it could be a vacuum leak somewhere from the emissions stuff.

Definitely crankcase pressure related since your sound goes away when you open the oil cap, my guess is a leak somewhere around the CCV/PCV or valve cover leaking somewhere.

OK TNX !

Dealer says the problem is located in the "engine cover"
Part number 11127846359

must replaced.

6 hours of work and 1000$ for the piece.

Wait for warranty response

How long do you run your car with that problem ?
I have the same issue.
And I don’t know if I can use the vehicle while valve cover is ready to install.

I drove with this issue in my 335 for a few weeks in limp mode until I got it fixed.

This. Just had my valve cover and gasket replaced for the exact same sound, which also was "fixed" by loosening the oil cap.

Took it to the dealer after noticing the sound during road trip, drove ~500 miles between identifying the issue and having it fixed. Rode the car per my usual style and never had any issues. The sound actually goes away once RPMs rise above 2-2.5k.

Good to know my M3 might suffer from the same issue as my old 335. Wonder how common it is. How many miles on your F8x?
