Gee, you offered to play, now you're butt-hurt because you didn't like my reply?

You offered suggestions, I rebutted them with my take. How is this directed in any way to you, personally? You seem to be the one with hurt feelings, for no apparent reason. Oh, maybe the inadequacy comment hit home? Please don't cry, it'll be awkward...

Yeah, had I known your game is so low, I wouldn't have played. Even though I had different opinions, I've never resorted to name calling or derogatory comments. I just refuse to lower myself to that. I urge you to do the same, as it doesn't serve the community or yourself.

Beyond that, I'm done talking with you.

I never called you a name. You're the one who said I had issues (personal attack). You implied that I should find something better to do when I've been here far longer than you.

You replied to my original question, I replied to your original answer, which was not directed to you personally at all, and then you made it personal, so I made it personal. Let's not forget who made it personal first. Bye, Felicia...

Thanks for the assistance all. The spray lube did the trick perfectly.

My 2 cents.
There is a service bulletin according to my service advisor when I took my 19 M4 CP in to have excessive rattles and pops in my doors a couple weeks ago.
There is a gap between the door panels and the door itself. They line the doors with felt tape at the dealer. They also used a special type of lubricant on the door weatherstripping themselves and told me not to ever use cleaner type solutions on them. if your car is under warranty, bring it to the dealer.
This service bulletin resolved my issue about 95% I would say. Going over bumps on 30 wall tires, that is another story. You will get rattles from just about anything.

I also had the dealer look into the exhaust at cold start which seems to sound like a can of krylon at start up. This is a normal condition on all of the M4/M3 lines according to my service advisor and multiple technicians at the dealer level.
Hope this helps.

Fixed my exhaust rattle. The exhaust actuator was loose.

Yep. The doors, the center console, the steering column, the gauge cluster. Buzzes, rattles, squeaks.

For what they charge it is an embarrassment.

Truth is the car is based on a 30 thousand dollar three series. Silly us for throwing another 40k at it to gussy it up.

My 1995 993 has zero rattles. Tight as the day it was new

I am certainly lucky. My '15 F80 has 41,000 miles and I have been mentioning often how tight everything feels, not even a rattle. Thanks to all for the advice on fixing them if they arrive...like tomorrow, just after I posted this. Alas.

Teflon is the fix! Took my car to the dealer and they fixed the rattles. Had another friend take his last week and rattles are gone. Car is rattle free even over railway tracks.

My m3 was rattling like crazy. It literally sounded like the windows were going to fall out. I watched the tommy L garage video on you tube last week. I bought the Teflon tape from amazon and put it on last weekend. The rattles are 100% gone, it's crazy. I could have brought it to the dealer to fix under warranty, but I would rather pay the $13 myself and not be bothered with a trip to the dealer.

Mine used to pop when getting in the car after being parking in the sun and rapidly cooling it. It was annoying to say to the least for such an expensive brand new car. Dealer fixed it though. I'd of made them do it. lol.
BMW of FTL is great, they even send you a video via text of what they found and how they fixed it. Never had that with any other car brand.

The dash has been entirely removed from my car to replace the HUD. Not a single rattle in nearly 16,000 miles. Sometimes the carbon trim on the dash makes an odd rattle over very broken surfaces but otherwise silent.

Currently trying to track down an intermittent buzz/rattle coming from somewhere on the driver's side dash. It's too hard to tell if it's from the gauge cluster, HUD, or steering wheel/housing area. It's driving me insane too because I can't replicate it and I can't track it down while driving

Door and window seals make all sorts of noise. Instead of bringing it in to the dealer I ordered Netzett Gummi Pledge off amazon and occasional cover the seals with it and it works great.
