What kind of coating is this on 666m?

I am interested in buying this M4 ZCP. The previous owner has blacked out the 666m wheels. What kind of coating is this? I personally like the natural look of 666m. Is this coating removable?

More likely than not, no, it's not removable. if it was refinished, probably powder coat. You'll have to have a wheel refinishing shop strip and machine the face for the look youre going for. It should be relatively straight forward for a reputable shop.

You will most likely have to sand blast it down to the alloy and repaint them.
