Muffler leak - worth replacing?

I have a leak in my muffler. The dealership looked at it and is willing to replace it under warranty, but they would have to cut the stock piping and use a clamp. It's supposedly a minor leak. Would you get this replaced under warranty or just live with it? Will it get worse over time? Thanks!

That does NOT look like a pinhole leak bud.

Exhaust leaks do one thing which is get worse over time.

Clamps are used all the time... even the MPE uses clamps. I wouldn’t worry. Dealer is just being lazy.

Replace it.

Get a new muffler. Clamps are okay.
This should not leak at all

Thanks everyone! I'll get it replaced. They don't have equipment to weld it at the dealer so I'll just go with the clamps.

Interesting, how long have you had the leak and had it gotten worse over time?
