What brand of tires are you running

2015 ///M4 coupe 40k DCT

A few yrs back I went on a ride along in a ///M4 at VIR and they were running Michelin Pilot Sport 4S’s. When I got home I immediately went out and bought a set for my other car. Just courteous what other summer tires are recommended? I need to replace them within the next few months. The car currently has Continentals on it now. My Best friend runs Nitto’s on his E39 ///M5 and swears by them.

Thank you,
b

RE71’s
It is surprising how much grip you have before the rear tires spin, and front grip is great too.

We install lots of PS4's. I personally run PS4's on my car, love them. Handles great, great in the rain, been wearing really well. 8k on mine and it's still around 50%, 3 track days and one night of autocross, 10+ laps. Toyo R Triple 8's have also been popular lately, but not cheap, and normally last 2500-5k miles depending how you drive. Massive amounts of grip though and look really good. One of our customers with a 750 has a 911 turbo and hellcat were currently building... Hellcat will be North of 1k Crank, and turbo north of 700 and both have R triple 8's on them. He swears by them. His 750 has PS4's

I have my second Cup2 set.

I was hoping to switch to PS4S but they were out of stock for rears a few months ago.

Definitely going with 4's on the M3 when they are worn. The 4s's sound quieter which should help with all the noise my M3 makes.

I put PS4S's on my car last year. They are a definite improvement over the OEM PSS's that came on my car.

I'm still on the Super Sports. I did 2 days at VIR on them and thought they were pretty good, especially in the wet. I was thinking of moving to Pilot Sport 4S for their balanced performance in wet and dry conditions. Now that I've moved to SoCal, I might go for something more dry biased such as the RE71R. I'm running RE71R on my GT3 currently and quite like them.

RE71R’s also. A bit loud and rigid, but worth it for the grip.
