To be honest Tim, I don't think people on this forum go near the F30 one and so wouldn' t know half the knowledge that exists.

Perhaps a link to something there?

But he must know how to do it, he needed the coding cable and software in order to get it done remotely!?

Nope, he only needed the cable (which this chap sends in the post). He then logs in remotely and does the coding.

Agree but some people don't have the confidence to do themselves (which is fair enough). Think it's good that someone will take away that doubt for a bit of dosh.

I have watched DD coding do his stuff on my laptop, After I have installed the contents of the 8 discs he then uses a program to take control of my laptop,

For what it cost to do all the coding and HUD update , I would not attempt to try as one wrong press of a button and it would end up costing me a lot more,

On this occasion, leave it to the people that know what they are doing

It does not Invalidate your warranty,
All we are doing is change some of the setting in our car that BMW should allow us to do through our cars IDRIVE
