No executive package alone should make you stay away from that car. The HUD is a great feature. It also features the back up camera which should've just came standard.

No, don't buy this car. Think about it, the car is already tied up at the dealership just trying to get a simple inspection sticker. There's a good chance this car is a lemon, and being used, you'll have less recourse if that's the case. Also, I would wonder why the previous owner traded it in for a Mercedes after having it for a couple of years at most.

It's not cpo either, so after a couple of years it'll be out of warranty too. A lemony m3 out of warranty is going to be a money pit. It looks like a 47k headache to me. As slick as this car looks, I'd search for another m3/4 that's in better shape.

FYI Maintenance does not transfer to the new owner unless purchased at a BMW dealer.

Can’t see your location from mobile app/site, however you either got lucky or live in Canada.

I would trust the inspection... possibly ask (or pay for) a third party inspection too.

Having a young owner doesn't always mean it's been abused, although the tune would suggest it's possible. For the record I am 27 and haven't even used launch control in a year of ownership

After 2015 MY, BMWNA stops that practice. Part of loop-hole plugging. Many lease returns end up at auction, got picked up by used car dealers, they in turn take those cars to dealers for free services before selling them for profit.

Yep! Exactly what was happening!

I did hear you can pay a fee to get it reinstated.

Here are my thoughts after recently buying my 2016:

1) Executive package, lighting package, 19s and full leather are absolutely MUST haves! Sensors, cameras and sophisticated lighting are something you will enjoy every day and the full leather really sets the car apart. These are fantastic for daily driving and resale. When I was looking for my car, it seemed like cars that were "strippers" had a hard time selling.
2) Adaptive suspension is nice but imho not a must have. I have it and always have it on 'sport.'
3) I have the drive assist but I can see where some wouldn't use it. I do enjoy this one.
4) The carbon roof, for me, was a must but I do miss a sunroof on nice days. This is a personal preference. I got the CF roof because no other (reasonable) car has it. Glad I did.
5) Tanzanite is AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL. I was 100% set on MW until I stumbled upon Tanzanite. Please don't wrap it!
6) Pre-paid Maintenance does not carry over.
7) Since the car is/was tuned, the power train warranty is probably gone. You could call your local BMW dealer and have them check the vin to see if it has been previously flagged. Not sure if this matters to you or not.
8) I would have BMW do a ppi on the car.

Good luck!
