Yeah, I’m running AP Essex brakes. I don’t know if 18’s will fit over stock brakes.

I've had this conversation with Slicer and from what he says, the 18" barrels will catch rocks between the caliper and score the barrels. BBS recommends scored barrels to be replaced immediately. For that reason, he recommends only 19" E88 for F80 application.

I've seen 18" E88 on F80s actually, but probably good just for show considering the above. Let me know what color you go with so I don't do the same :P

They will not. They clear rears but fronts need AP racing or something similarly low profile unfortunately.

Should I go with 285/35/18 4s’ or 295/30/18 4s’. I’m running 275/35/18 fronts.

More sidewall is better, esp for street use. What wheels/offsets/suspension?

Quick question I’ve been searching for but haven’t done myself or found. Are you running a spacer in the front or will the 275 front tire clears the perch/spring without a spacer?

I have Turner 5mm spacers up front. Could probably get away with 3mm. When mounted with no spacer it didn’t touch but it was very close.

Hi everyone!

About to join the 18" gang as I pickup my first M car on Friday! Super pumped and excited!

Car currently sits on OEM M513 rims, 255/40 and 275/40 Michelin Pilot Super Sport. I dont plan on changing these out as they're pretty much new.

I want that OEM+ aggressive stance without the car looking slammed. Any ideas and tips are highly appreciated but as of now I'm considering 15MM spacers all around and Eibach springs (EU version).

The difference between Eibach EU and US lowering springs are:
US: Front - 0.8" Rear - 0.5"
EU: Front 0.8" Rear - 0.2"

I have a set of HRE R40 in 18x9.5et23 and 18x10et30 with Mich 4S 275/35 and 285/35 Mich 4S tires. Unfortunately I don’t have any pics of the wheels installed

Also have BW TA5R in 18x9.5et23 and 18x11et44 with Yoko A052 also not installed

Looks great! Does the front rub anywhere such as the fender liner?
