Thanks, Sedan!
The 992 3RS's looks takes getting used to. After seeing it in person a few times it does kind of grow on you. Though it isn't like the GT4RS where I instantly fell in love for the car. Porsche did seem to listen about the complaints of the too much carbon fiber in your face like the 4RS WP by giving you the option of painting part of it (with a cost of course...) to mimic the 991 GT2RS painted hood style.

That said, if only Porsche put the exposed CF on the roof instead of the front hood I think people would complain less. You can option it on the 992 GT3, for exposed CF roof which I feel not enough people did it. Not sure why.

They do serve an important function though: they prevent the hot air coming out of the radiator outlets on the front hood getting into the engine air intake at the rear. Apparently they are worth 20 horsepower according to Porsche.

The RS always looks wild of course, but the folks buying these cars have plenty of other options in the stable for daily driving I’m sure.

Wild when you wanna be!

If Porsche designed them, I have no doubt they're functional but pretty cheesy looking how they're just slapped on with glue. When they could have engineered it properly into the hood.

Yeah that HS looks dope and clean. Can you believe the Misano Blue was $7k more without CCB? Both have the same mileage and MT. The white M3CS was $155k with $20k ADM

It’s been a while since I last posted. I moved from California to Maryland and got my cars some private bedrooms in the process.

Wow, that’s obviously a big change! What is/was the reason for the move?

I’m from Maryland originally so it’s sort of a homecoming. Family and job opportunities and the desire to try something a bit quieter after 20 years in cities…

Honestly I don't have any photos because there weren't anything special to take.

Every dealership did the 75th anniversary differently and from what I know. Porsche Delivery Center in LA did one today as well and I think that is the bigger one because there is everything. DTLA did basically a dinner party of sorts. No real cars to speak of just, eating, chatting, some small shows and things. Kind of like a make shift club party thing.

The valet there kinda messed up the VIP thing though but I don't blame them for it. It was only a grab bag (yes I had the VIP bracelet).

Nice and free Champagne too. I hardly go to any C&C meets anymore. I just want to meet and drive

That spoiler looks cheaper than a hooker on a date at Red Lobster.

Got my car back today. Wonderful folks at the dealership and BMW replaced both of my ICON headlights under warranty. The drivers side DRL was starting to fade, so they replaced both headlights to ensure the colors side to side matched. This was at considerable cost to BMW I’m sure so I’m thrilled with the outcome. The only issue is the gap between the hood and the bumper on the passengers side is not quite correct. I’ll take it back next week for hopefully a quick adjustment.

Looks like the G8X will be remembered for more than its ugly face...

BMW M: twin-clutch auto is dead, and the last manual gearbox will be the M2's
