Picking up on my 2018 M3 on Thursday!

hey guys, not new to the forums but a new M3 owner. ive wanted one for as long as i can remember. i got an i8 earlier in the year and only had it for a few months. it was super cool but didnt put a grin on my face.

today, i finally pulled the trigger on an M3. 2018, loaded with comp package, 6 speed, etc. 6K miles. still has the brand new smell. i am picking it up on thursday. i cant wait. i will post some pics.

looking forward to the ownership experience and rocking my closet full on M gear.

haha will do. i’m picking it up tomorrow. getting tints and an xpel bra done. it’s gonna be my DD so i figured to try the shield out. i’ve never had one on any car i’ve owned. hopefully it’s worth the investment.

XPEL bra is definitely worth the investment. I am thinking of also expanding the original clear bra that comes with the car on rear wheel wells larger, too.

Congrats on the purchase. What color?
I just picked up an Alpine white, loaded, 2018 6sp recently. Mine just hit 6000 miles. It’s amazing.

Lol I agree the dct makes the car so much better

manual just didn’t feel as good with this motor

Congratulations on the new M, I'm sure you will have a heavy foot each time you drive it!

Btw, how was the i8? I've always wanted one but chose the M4 instead. I know the tech and interior seemed great/futuristic but why did you pick an M3 over it?

Congrats! I also just picked up a 2018 M3 with 6MT a week and a half ago and love it. Probably overpaid but it only had 1400mi and it was a dream car for me so I decided I didn't care. Even in traffic I loved driving it home from work today.

It's exactly what I wanted and the car continues to exceed my expectations!

They don't. He's mistaken. No CS has a manual tranny.
