Driver mod is the only mod required here. The gas pedal isn't an on/off switch.

You can run 305's on stock 437M rear's without clearance issues, even lowered.

Previously, I have had 5 pairs of RE-11's on previous cars and loved them.

The RE-71r's have some big down sides compared to the RE-11's...

1.) They are much louder

2.) They heat cycle out much quicker, the RE-11's were pretty consistent through out their life. The RE-71r's started falling off after about 50% of life (street driven only).

3.) They don't excavate standing water as well

Since you can't get the RE-11's in stock sizes, and with the compromises of the RE-71r's, I think next round I will be moving to the Sport Cup 2 tires.
What you are describing is consistent with an extreme performance summer tire that is almost an r-comp such as the RE71R. It's all about compromise. The RE71R sacrifice comfort (including NVH) durability and wet performance in the name of dry performance. The PSC2 are a true R-comp, you'll find them even a more compromised bias than the RE71R.

If you really liked the RE-11, why don't just go with the 265-285/35R19 RE-11 ? Since you are changing tire brand/model, the "OE size" becomes sort of irrelevant (within a decent margin).

It's throttle by wire so it is a switch

The idea of this thread is to find a way so you can be able to use full throttle without having to finesse it when you get slip

Did anyone get an air leak around the rims from using bigger tires...I had it on my ex M3 they said the bigger tire doesn't seal well if it's too big

Lol. It may be a "switch" but it doesn't have only two positions.

I think what CanAutM3 means is modulate the throttle.

Modulating is great in corners and feeding it in on exits, trailing throttle and all that good stuff...but I'm talking when you're cruising at 80km and you floor it the tails wags into the other lane...I wonder how car and driver got their sub 4 sec in it

You'd think the test drivers would talk and know how to modulate

Nope, never had any issues with the 295's. Couldn't be happier, just hoping they last ~15k miles.
