Maybe if BMW opted to offer colors other than powder baby blue, bright greenish gold, and metallic rust, I might have chosen something different myself. Since none of those colors looked good to me, I was left to chose white, black, or a shade in-between. Since the last three cars I've owner where AW, MW, and BS, if I wanted something different it was between SS and MG. I chose MG because in my opinion it looked good on a 428i that I saw on the dealers lot. After seeing pictures recently, I believe that MG looks better than any other current offings.

I hope this helps you understand a little better.
Fair enough. I agree the color options are not great.

maybe a guy like you prefers orange...

MG is fantastic, doesn't hide body lines, looks aggressive, hides dirt.. You have to see it in person to appreciate it. IMO black hides lines and so can white.. MG is a masculine color and hits all spots right on. The CF roof looks TDF against the color as well.

Just my 2 cents@

Because we are all different what you like I might not like. Its a personal taste. I don't think you have the right to question anyone's taste. I hope you take this in a constructive way.

Congrats on the new car! Your colour choice looks great and you must be super happy that yours finally arrived.

Can you please take a pic of the center console around the shifter? I'm wondering what they do with the suspension button since you didn't order adaptive suspension (I didnt order it either, so I'm wondering what they put in place of that button?)

Thanks!

OP would you please write a short review about the suspension? I'm thinking not to get the adaptive as well since I'm planning on lowering the car.

Sorry, I phrased that too strongly. Didn't mean to attack your color choice. I guess I personally get tired to seeing most of the cars out there (not only BMWs, just in general) in some shade of grey (black, white, silver, grey, etc). But yeah, everyone is different.

The car does look great! And I enjoyed reading your thoughts on it. More impressions would be welcome.

This picture is from an M4 listing on cars.com. Looks like you just get a blank button that has no function. I spec'd mine with standard suspension as well.

The contrast is good I agree, maybe not as dramatic as the blue or white but the color isn't super dark imo like the singapore.black grilles and side markers would look very mean.

MG is fantastic. Ignore the haters. I will be one of the "loud ones" with my color choice, but MG is nice, classy, and totally unsuspecting.

This post is extremely helpful. I was wondering what the buttons looked like without the suspension.

Nice!.. just saw the new M3 in MG, with the new black wheels and my jaw dropped... I swear the new M3/M4 in pictures just don't do this car any justice. In person, they look amazing. So torn between trading in my 2009 E93 M3 or keeping it.
