MG M4

Car look good man, congrats!

Is it a stick?

Also, once you get "motoring" can you share any thoughts on oil consumption? As you know, our E92's love gas and like oil, especially when driving in the sweet spot of RPMs.

I just don't understand why you don't understand that not everyone has the same taste in car colors as you. That is the reason they don't all come the color that you prefer. Differences in the way people think and act is what makes the world interesting and fun... we are not all the same. Maybe if BMW opted to offer colors other than powder baby blue, bright greenish gold, and metallic rust, I might have chosen something different myself. Since none of those colors looked good to me, I was left to chose white, black, or a shade in-between. Since the last three cars I've owner where AW, MW, and BS, if I wanted something different it was between SS and MG. I chose MG because in my opinion it looked good on a 428i that I saw on the dealers lot. After seeing pictures recently, I believe that MG looks better than any other current offings.

I hope this helps you understand a little better.

I don't believe any BMW turbo cars come with a boost gauge.

Educate me, everybody, please.

And then again: Congratulations on this cool ride! Very much looking forward to more pics and drive review.

as of June numbers -

M5 MF .00130 Residual 60% (12k) miles, $1500 rebate and you can get the car for invoice if not under invoice

M4 - .00133 Residual 57%, no rebates and most likely MSRP or 1K under MSRP

"Car almost sounds like a Ferrari" is the quote.
Keyword - "ALMOST"

Give the op a break as he/she has the car, has heard the car in person and has driven the car. Most of us have only seen pics and/or video with poor sound quality and at best, saw the car at a car show. Maybe some of you don't know or forgot but Ferrari has in the past and currently offers a turbo enhanced motors of which you may or may not have heard.

I'm just saying .....

Car is 77,300.00 discounted 1100 bucks which I think is fantastic considering these are selling in a heart beat for above sticker..

carbon roof is a nice contrast. Not huge, but just the right amount. In the sun MG looks excellent.

from 2500 to 4k RPM it has a very nice sound.. In video's the car sounded flat and ugly, I didn't have high hopes. But in real life it has base that the videos cannot pick up well.

Have not had much chance to drive it a lot being I work early tomorrow but the car is so fast, it reminds me of my e92 but so much better in so many ways.. I had several head turns and people taking pictures when I was driving around today. First time most people are seeing it in person.

I will post more pics tomorrow.
not a bad deal. congrats

Gosh I didn't realize you were in Michigan as well?! My dealer said i should have the first M3 here and I don't think the list is very long for them (M4's primarily).
I'm in Novi, what about you?

Sound, much like anything, is subjective as well. I know what I think of vehicles now sound wise, is much different than say a decade ago. Some in part due to the fact my hearing has seen better days, and some due to other variables (humidity, temp, exhaust type, etc...) I can see how someone might think the sound of this car reminded them of a Ferrari (or similar sports car). I think we all have heard far more outrageous claims at least.

Somehow I suspect if Le Mans Blue or Interlagos re-appeared in the color line up, BMW would see the take rate for YMB fall off in a hurry. LCI, maybe? Maybe the new car looks better in a bright color, so you can really appreciate the lines. Too flashy for me, though.

But, congratulations to the OP! I love Mineral Grey and it would be my pick of colors on any new current BMW right now. My dad has a 128 M-Sport in Mineral Grey and it truly is stunning. Deep, silky, smooth, and especially gorgeous on a car with sexy M bodywork. Looks fantastic in the sun.
I dunno about this. People need change. If every line-up consisted of the same colors, people would get bored. IB has been around since 2005. It's 2014! Time for something new. Don't get me wrong....I love the color. I've owned two M3's that were IB. If it were available I don't think I'd spec it over YMB on this particular car. I also don't think people are choosing this in absence of IB.

I mean, little people wear clothes too.

So, your analogy was "almost" amusing..... Try it again !
