DME Flashing
Hello all,
I have a stage 2 M3 and potentially looking at flashing back to stock before trading in, i have Esys and ISTA P/D and i have some questions regarding what is/isnt possible My first question is; Will flashing the DME back to stock remove the remap? This is my intention Is flashing of the DME possible over eNet? Ive seen threads mentioning an icom emulator but unsure if this would work for the DME? Whats the best/safest solution either flashing all ecus to the latest I-step, or just flashing the DME back to match the current i step? If the latter is possible how would i work out the correct version to flash to and figure which psdz data version would i need or are these backward compatible in this sense?? Apologies if this is in the wrong section! Thanks in advance |

Hi,
You can flash back to the stock map with all-flash tunes. Bootmod3 and Active Autowerke are the only 2 that use the Enet cable to flash

Yes, flashing will return the DME to stock if using esys. eNET cable is all that's required.
