Ghost M3 goes 10.05@143mph

Well guys, went to the track yesterday and managed a 10.05 @ 143mph
Mods are:
chargepipes
RK front mount intakes
midpipes
top chargecooler
front intercooler
ngk plugs gapped at .18
chfix and cbc
downpipes
replace second cats with magnaflows
PS2+
SSP Spec-r clutches
BM3
VC-50 Meth controller
M1 Methanol
Cary Jordan Tune
Red Ignite fuel
stock motor
stock head
stock axles
513 wheels with pss front and MT et street 305 rears

Wow, very impressive! Curious about your clutches, did you need them or was it more of a preventative measure? In other words did you actually notice any slipping of the stock clutches? If yes, where in the RPM range was the slipping?

Thanks, i did the ssp clutches for holding my power, 771whp and i didn't want to damage the oem clutches.

Nice 60’ and good pass!

How did you not have a 9.xx pass with a 1.6 60’ and 143mph trap?? Timing equipment must be off?

Thanks BlownOne, well this was my 3rd pass of the day, 1st pass i did 10.2, 2nd pass i made 10.1 and then, adjusting rpm lc i did my 3rd pass and last one of 10.05.
I'll be at the drag next month to see if i can improve and hit 9.9.

Gotcha. Well the mph for a 9 second pass is there for sure! What rpm did you launch at? Big Smokey burnout or just a little tire cleaner? I’m going to hit the track for the first time in the m soon and haven’t even launched it yet haha

Yeah, 9 sec mph pass, maybe I'm to fat, 245#...lol. i did a smoky burnout. Rpms at 3700 lc. They closed the track in my 3rd pass but I'll try it next time at 3800 and maybe, maybe I'll be able to hit 9s.
