Weird clunk noise at VERY LOW SPEED BRAKING

Hello,

I have a weird clunk noise coming from front left of the car. Basically when the car is at a stop and I let go of the brakes, and the car rolls by itself, if I lightly press the brakes a clunk noise comes from the front left of the car.

At high or normal speed there is no issues. Hard braking or light breaking at normal or high speed no clunk. Only at a complete stop, in parking lots going slow and pressing the brakes lightly a clunk noise occurs.

Any idea what it can be? I have kw V3 suspension and just today I raised the car a bit to fit new wheels and wider tires.

Let me know what you guys think it is. Thanks guys.

Sounds like a pad moving slightly in the calliper/ carrier.
I have exactly the same from my rears, but because I know what it is and it only does it in those exact circumstances I shall leave it until the pads need changing, no problem whatsoever in normal driving, I just hear it parking up sometimes and it’s not exactly loud.

Had the same problem with my 16 m4..

Noticed it on the drive home, called the previous owner and asked why the car feels like its falling apart in the front end when ibrake?

He said the dealer thought it was brake pads.. replaced. Didnt fix it, they said normal.

I took it to another BMW dealer.. it was a passenger control arm

Fucking idiots

I doubt I have warranty with all the bull shit I have done to my car. I appreciate that brother and I think it is control arm. One of the Mechanics who checked out my car yesterday said it was the same thing but needs more time for diagnosing.

I'm getting a passenger control arm replacement this week on my 16 m4 too, don't know why it needs a new one as I only have 37k miles but that's what the dealer is saying is causing my vibration when cornering.
