Non bucket GTS seat question

I was wondering if anyone w non bucket GTS seats can chime in on how well the seats w alcantara hold you on the track. I have a CS and my theory is the all leather seats are making me slide around way more than potentially the GTS seats w the alcantara side bolsters.

Any thoughts or opinions would be appreciated.

I have the stock North American GTS seats, and find them lacking, to say the least, at the track.

Definitely wish I had kept my Recaro Pole Positions from my E92 M3.

Much better hold with alcantara than with leather, I have m2c with leather and gts with alcantara, I prefer alcantara!

That makes me feel better I wanted to try alcantara before committing to buckets it should be much cheaper

Note: Quick thought, if looking, I have a complete set of original M4 GTS seats, unused/new in storage. These are the US DOT approved seats the GTS came with when it arrived in USA. Upon receipt of my GTS, I purchased and had IND install the Germany OEM GTS carbon fiber race seats. If interested PM.

Absolutely agree. I was sliding around like a greased up pig when I had them at the track.
