As far as I can tell it does the same thing M View does. So not worth coding on our cars. Probably there for a non-M car.

I was sitting around staring at my phone and noticed my phone was connected to my car's bluetooth. The car is in the garage but I haven't been around or in my car for hours. Is this normal or could this be something I unintentionally enabled messing around with the speed lock and SL options in the HU_NBT file. I'm worried about my car's battery life. Just about anything that refers to speed lock is not active.
Edit: figured it out. Set SL09 back to aktiv

Hats off once again to shawnsheridan
Attempted my first coding yesterday, and needed a lot of help from Shawn, who is super-helpful - and patient!
Thanks Shawn!

Does anyone knows how to code the show the actual (correct) speed on the display and HUD?
I remember I used to code this in 135, but doesn't seems to have that option anymore in F10/F30/F80.

So I coded all of these and Euro Mdm, but it seems like none of them worked. I did all of them at once, then saved and coded. Do you have to save and code after each "module" (ie. DSC)?
After I finished pushing the changes, the display restarted and my TPMS had to be reset. I guess that had to do with the Euro Mdm change? I guess I need some help, already have teamviewer installed and I'm familiar with using the software. I think I should start with NGHB, since that resets everything after coding. :/ |

My experience with the coding is very similar to everyone who posted on this thread.
However, I could not find the ECU to code the rear cameras on at any speed. The coding cheat sheet says its in REM 01 but there is no ECU for that. Am I missing CAFD files? shawnsheridan can you assist? Thank you in advance.

I'm stuck, having an issue when trying to "Read Coding data" under each CAFD. Where do I find the option to Read Coding Data? Everything I've tried does nothing.

Can you tell me what the stock values are? I feel the same way but I may have jumped the gun and didn't save before I changed the values...

My current setup is ASD disabled and exhaust valve fuses unplugged. Gives you the extra noise and grunt from the exhaust without synthetic noise being pumped directly into your ears. I'm liking it so far. The cabin is much more comfortable and the HK sounds better, but you still hear the anger coming from the rear.

Has anybody tried coding VLD, Variable light distribution, for those with xenons. I had this coded on my M235i and its pretty cool. It changes where the xenons are pointing based on the speed you are driving

It should be speed based. it just changes the position of the headlights based on speed, ie. at lower speeds the headlights will be lower and wider, while at higher speeds the headlights will have a tighter farther throw
