Very Portland to hate personalized plates, yet require you be “weird”

Was hard to change my mindset after 30 years on that shitty plot of land. Now I love the plates. Friends visit me from pdx and have the same mindset. Goes to beg the question if the one suffers from group think in the guise of “culture?”

I was at AAA today and the rep told me personalized plates in CA are taking anywhere from 6 months to a year now. I ordered mine in Feb and still no word yet.
