Potential m4 gts buy, dealer sent me pics of knuckles

Hello, the dealer sent me pictures of the knuckles (<6k miles) and seem to be in good shape. I also asked for pictures of the water injection system. Looking to see what the experienced owners think of these photos. Any help is appreciated, thank you!

Those knuckles are the v1. They can be converted to v2 with some machining.

I’d imagine you need to see the stone filter itself. I’m not sure if you can see anything in those pictures that could be a red flag.

On water injection - I’d have them run a test sequence with ISTA to ensure that it’s working. That’s how I found out that mine wasn’t working. If it’s not flowing it show failed.

I didn't know there was a test in ISTA!

Yup! I can try and get the details, but a friend of mine found out that mine was not working as a result of it. You can essentially force it work or purge and it will show you “failed” or similar if it didn’t work

it would be super helpful if you could post where that test is. I use ISTA/INPA but haven't tried that test, I don't know where it is.
