Finally was able to get my voucher from Thor Support! Flashed the CS EDC onto my bilstein b6 damptronics with eibach pro kit v1 lowering springs. I'm literally speechless at how much better these are now over the base coding. I thought the base coding was good enough but the CS edc takes it to a whole new league!

Any I the only one having trouble with updating the Thor app to version 2.1? I’m stuck on ver 1.5 so I can’t update the edc. On iPhone 12 iOS ver 14.5.1

I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Nothing.

Version 2.1.3 is out, with "Bugfix EDC" in the release notes.

Anyone having issues that this is fixing for them?

I flashed CS EDC today and immediately got "Chassis function restricted" error. I tried to restore stock settings both through Thor and E-sys using the original CAFD files I had saved before flashing. However, the error is still there. I have base 2015 f82. I used the latest Thor app version.

I reached out to Thor for support, so let's see what they say. Did anyone have the similar problem? Is there a known solution how to reverse this EDC flash back to stock?

Update: After I upgraded the app to 2.1.3, I was able to roll back EDC to stock with "Standard" option. So the error is gone. However, CS and Competition EDC still don't work

Looks like they released another app update. Not sure what all changed but the EDC option now shows on the app before your car is connected.

Base F80 on MP HAS here

Anyone have experience with CS EDC on this setup? Seems like most guys on this thread are comparing it to ZCP so I'm wondering what it'll be like on a base, especially with MP HAS.

Also, does CS EDC make the same changes across the board across all suspension modes? Or does it change/stiffen Sport + more than Comfort, for example? I'd like improved handling in all modes, especially Sport + at the track, but I'm not sure I want to run the risk of worsening ride comfort on our pothole-ridden streets in the Comfort setting.

Yeah. Currently on the BM3 GTS ECU flash, as I like how linear it is while still being a semi-conservative power increase and used Thor for:

GTS - diff, steering, traction control
CS -DCT

CS DCT shifts quicker, crisper, and smoother as compared to the GTS DCT flash
Very interesting I'm also running the GTS map. I may have to go reflash the CS tranny flash to see if I notice what you mentioned
Any update or further observation on CS DCT vs GTS DCT?

Not a fan of the CS DCT because it feels very similar to the 2020 software for the ZCP. The GTS was more suited to my style and tastes.

Any specifics in terms of the difference between the CS DCT vs GTS DCT? What did you like more about the GTS DCT?

The GTS flash will downshift sooner and hold gears longer. Going from the 2017 ZCP to the GTS was great. Tried the CS and it was better than the 2017 ZCP flash. When I had my idrive fixed they flashed me to the current version. The 2020 ZCP flash and the CS feel almost identical. Really you need to try them and see what you like.

flash everything as CS (including EDC) and only dct as GTS.

Thor claims GTS is "maximum performance" so I flashed GTS LSD for the track. The rest is relatively subjective for your taste. Personally, I like a softer steering so I actually kept mine in comfort on the track with the CS steering flash. And I'm a wimp so I kept DSC fully on despite having CS/Euro MDM DSC flashed. And my one and only track event since owning the car was before the EDC flash came out so I can't comment on that (I just left EDC in OEM Sport +). Overall, with those settings, the car performed well enough for me not to bother messing with any of them. I am, however, looking forward to seeing what the CS EDC flash does to a base F80 with MP HAS so I'll play around with that next time. As you can see from my sig, I'm BM3 Stage 1 so not far off your setup. Oh, but I do have camber plates in addition to the MP HAS. You may wanna consider those before shredding your front tires on the track.
