Aftermarket black chrome slanted exhaust tips

Hi All,

While I was browsing the forum to find the best looking aftermarket exhaust tips as a beginner's budget mod, I found that there were black chrome slanted exhaust tips that BMS and VRSF used to carry. However, they no longer sell those tips since people have moved to MP-style Chinese replica tips as they both fall into $200-$300 price range(people loves fancy stuff).

I believe some people love those M Performance style tips but they are not my cup of tea and I am tired to see replicas. I really like the OEM look BMS/VRSF tips offered.

Unfortunately, as of now, there is no vendor across globe selling them. Great news is, I find my way to get connected with the original manufacture of BMS tips and they are willing to re-produce those tips if there is enough demand.

Now I am making this thread to hear what do you guys think about this tips, and hopefully get enough people interested.

Please reply to this thread if you are interested. Once it goes to two-figure, I will try to make it happen.

I wouldn't pay $350+ again, but for $250 I'd go for the chrome tips. They easily looked and fit the best.

CF tips are dumb. I'll never understand why people like them. The only other tips I really love are the M Performance titanium tips, but those only fit the MPE.

I got my BMS "Titanium" tips for $199 and they fit my stock exhaust without modification:

For sure they won't go $350, I even don't think they will go as much as $250. Currently I am looking around $199 to $229.

Yep they look great. Kinda mixture of BMW and JDM.

And yes they used to sold at $199, but MAGA is now charging 15% tariff (going to 30% by mid Oct.)...

Just checked BMS and X-PH sites - apparently, the only F8x tips that BMS is selling these days are billet-type and none are the "Titanium" variety. Got mine on sale, so apparently they were clearing their stock out.

The BMS tips when t hey stopped selling these ones were selling for like $70 for the set. I have the burned blue ones - cost maybe like $100 shipped to poland?

yeah they had a clearance sale when the manufacture stopped the production. their regular price was like $199.

I have an original set from BMS and they look great at first, but the coating eventually discolors and looks bad. I'm in the process of coating mine. Perhaps the manufacturer can improve the coating quality especially at that high price point.

I also have the BMS black chrome tips on my 335i and it looks good at first but the color fades and turns into shit over time.

Finally received one sample tip from the manufacture. It turns out great. The finishing looks even better than stock tip.
I discussed with the business owner regarding the finishing issue that some members brought up. Owner said their plating technique was much improved during past years, and it shouldn't be a problem anymore.

However, I just had a phone call with the owner of the factory. He no longer plans to produce any more BMS-style tips unfortunately.
He has 5 sets of tips left in his warehouse...and yes those are probably the last 5 brand new sets in the world.
He has 2 sets of silver chrome tips, 2 sets of black chrome tips(pic shown) and 1 set of burnt blue.

So ///M3&4 fellows, whoever wants to take one of these, PM me.

Might be switching over to MPE and I'm curious if these would fit on the MPE system. I think they look way better than MPE tips.

Anyone know if these would fit?

as far as I know, they won't fit for sure.
