Dynojet in the bay area
Anyone know of a good spot in norcal bayarea that has a dynojet? Looking to dyno tune my car through BM3, not trying to go through the hassle of doing revisions and waiting.

Not sure if these spots are still active but call around and see what you find. I'll need to do the same for ECUTEK this summer. Good luck.

There's quite a few in the Bay Area.
[Sonoma Raceway] Charlie (previously operated by TFB Performance) 925-260-4148 [Rohnert Park] RPM Engines (usually booked weeks ahead) [Santa Rosa] Sonny's Diesel & Performance [Vallejo] Hybridworks [Concord] The Racers Line [Antioch] Redzone [Hayward] Nextgen Auto Sport (Matt) [Fremont] Go Wraps [Campbell] All Auto and Trucks Specialist (early 7-8 AM bookings preferred) There's a handful more Dynojet shops around the Bay Area, but most are reserved for in-progress customer cars, like: VTT Newtech Performance Z-Car Garage |

I usually try to schedule a session there on a Wednesday afternoon, just so I can squeeze a few drag strip passes right after. |

Did you have a dyno there recently after their update?

Had one scheduled in April and beginning of May, but I had to cancel due to mechanical issues on my end. Not too concerned about a lower reading Dynojet, however, so will likely reschedule again depending on their availability.
As long as the car feels right, boost and ignition targets are met, and fuel trims check out... the dyno could read 400whp, and I'll be completely okay with it as long as the trap speeds are able to back things up. Dyno numbers are conditional based readings that depend on atmospheric density, ambient temps, fuel quality and etc. A lot of people are going to be disappointed if they rely on dyno numbers as the sole performance benchmark for their cars. |

Otherwise, if you want to hop on a Mustang dyno, Bains tuning in San Jose is a good spot. Depending on when you're looking to get the tune done, I know Four B Auto is looking to buy a dynapack sometime soon. (located across from SV Bimmer) |
