Depends who ya ask. A lot of people have done this, but I myself would convert your SwitchPath to resonated when adding DP into the mix.
Hey Josh,

As I just got the new non res mid pipe conversion, is this a job I can do with jack stands and basic hand tools in my garage? It seems like the pipes are only put on by clamps and doesn't seem too hard, but I'm worried about exhaust leaks and rattles. Thoughts?

Definitely. Feel free to use a cordless impact if ya have one, if not just tighten as much as ya can, and ensure the clamps are places over the joints correctly (like below)

Pair it with MsR intakes and you’ll be one very happy man.

Hey Josh, are your AWE exhaust systems compatible with other brand's mid pipes? or the OE mid pipe?

As everyone is getting their F8Xs ready for the summer, I'm getting a lot of questions regarding Tip Cleaning. We have an FAQ section on our website that covers this and other important questions you might have.

Check out the care and feeding of your AWE tips here.

Pro-Tip: Mark the tip location on the exhaust pipe with a Sharpie prior to removal for easy and fast alignment when you reinstall.

Check out our other FAQ's here.

Hey guys!

As you can see, more and more companies are coming out with equal length exhaust options to smooth out the sound of the S55. Are you guys planning on coming out with a new mid pipe design that would work with your current line of exhaust for the S55? I have your switchpath exhaust and rather than swap and sell it, it’d be Nice if there were an upgrade option.

If not, would you guys know if other company’s mood pipes would fit in the switchpath exhaust?

Hi, JP! Luckily we have had one of the smoother soundtracks the entire time thanks to our properly engineered X-pipe.

Our exhaust suite is slated to undergo redesign to accommodate EPA regulations, so we shall see what comes of it when that time comes.

Can't comment on other mid pipe compatibility, I'm afraid. Can't recall anyone trying to do such since our system is a downpipe-back configuration.

We used an etched logo on Silver non-slash with carbon over it for our carbon tip options:

Check it:
