Arrow Custom Painted Brake Calipers // TAG Motorsports

Here at TAG Motorsports we do a lot of caliper painting. Customers can mail us their calipers and we can paint them any color you would like, just let us know the paint code. Painting is safer than powder coating. Also the finish product comes out much cleaner. We fully remove the calipers from the car, prep the calipers for paint, paint them the color the client desires, add logos then spray clear over the logos. We have do many different color combinations. Below are just a few of the ones that we have done. Now its time to show us your painted calipers. Please PM me HERE for more information on getting your calipers done.

Just curious, when you guys re paint these calipers. Do you put the stickers on the same way as it comes OEM? Because, IMO they are the wrong way, the writing is backwards or upside down on the one side. If you pay attention, you will know what I mean.. Curious to see if you guys fix this mistake that BMW has been doing for years.

The sticker orientation isn't a "mistake", it is the result of extensive wind tunnel testing by BMW's finest engineers. The sticker orientation, when coupled with BMW-specific tires and wheels, lower the coefficient of friction by a significant amount. If you reverse the sticker orientation without making a corresponding change to the tires and wheels and you're taking your and your passengers' lives into your own hands. Only at speeds greater than 42mph mind you. So unless you track your car, this might be a non-issue.

OP... Nice work.

The paint we use for calipers has such high tolerances for heat, that the caliper temps wont get the paint's threshold. So we're good!
