Running a cable into the engine bay.

Hi, I’m a new member having just bought an M4 Comp.

I’m looking to hardwire a road angel pure speed camera alert. I’m looking at mounting it on the dash close to the windscreen so I need to run a cable into the engine bay to connect to the engine bay fuse box.

Anyone done this before with a road angel or dash cam ?

Could you pass the cable behind the dash where it meets with the bottom of the windscreen ? Obviously I want The cable hidden.

Many thanks

I wouldn't be going through the firewall tbh. There's a fuse box on the right of the dash isn't there? You've got me thinking now. Certainly is under the boot floor.
But if you're just wanting an ignition live circuit, just tap into the 12v power supply under the passenger glovebox, or the one in the centre console.

Thanks, the one under the glovebox could be the way to go

That's exactly where I wired my dashcam. Best solution 👍
