Did a direct swap to the VLAND lights and everything operated exactly as it did with the LCI lights, no change in coding or anything additional needed.

Thanks Tide. Could you please confirm the VLAND rear fogs light the red lights adjacent or integral to the reverse lights.
Thank you. Note: I did not retrofit with the Euro light switch. I simply coded and shaved the tabs of the existing rear fog switch. |

If possible, please let me know any coding parameters. I'm just not sure why my (successful coding on LCI) defaults to the turn signals on VLAND.
Thanks again. |

Thanks Goose. i'll verify once I can check my parameters. I suspect they will match this as my rear fogs were working perfectly ... and still are, just not the lights I intended for the VLAND GTS lights. I can't imagine any specific coding parameters to change which light is activated. Seems very odd to me.
Appreciate the details. |

Coming back to my (unique?) situation on getting the correct rear fog light activation for the GTS lights.
Upon closer inspection before coding, my rear fogs activated the outer amber turn signals. (sorry no before picture). Using the coding parameters supplied above, the rear fog light activation did move, but not as hoped. Now the inner amber turn signals light up when activating my rear fogs. Odd! See pic below. I'm hesitant to try different coding option iterations hoping to find the correct option. I am the only one in this situation? Mystery continues. Thoughts appreciated. |

“ I just got around to playing with the coding for the "rear fog lights" and shoved in different values instead of 0x20. What I found
0x1A & 0x1B - use the "inner" / trunk portion of the turn signal. Seems less invasive and a little more 'rear fog lampy' 0x1C & 0x1D - use the actual lights if equipped I suppose 0x1E & 0x1F - these are the reversing lights. Don't use 0x20 & 0x21 - outer bits of the turn signal 0x22 & 0x23 - not sure which does it, but this is for the third brake light, don't use either!” |

Interesting and thanks for taking the time to test different options. Based on your suggestion above, I used 0x1B (for R_Output) and see it worked as you describe (lighting the inner turn signal). Previously I had 0x20 and this activated the outer turn lights. No surprises at all.
Of course, my objective is to light the rear fog for the VLAND GTS lights as shown in their literature/pictures online. I understood your VLAND GTS lights correctly light these. Can you please verify (again?) what configuration option you have? Also, if practical, can you please show a picture with your rear fogs activated? Thanks again for your help and responses. |

Got my set in super quick from Abdul. 2 days to from MI to MD.
3 things happened that were a bit rough for me (all my fault): 1. I stripped one of my plastic screws on the trunk lid (I forget what it's called… maybe a grommet?). Was super easy to do it 2. I pulled off the outer rubber (or is it plastic?) of one of the lights on the trunk lid (was super easy to do). I was trying to get the light out but it was pretty stuck. I tried to pull the edge a bit to loosen the light and it popped off. I used some flexible glue on put it back together in case I put the lights back in 3. Took me a few tries to put the wires that go to the trunk lid in a decent place. The trunk didn't close like there was some tension built up when closing it. Small issue. Took me a little over an hour. Wasn't too bad. I'm imagining I can get that screw out if I really needed to do so. I was able to work around it. The actual lights have been great so far. I washed the car shortly after the install to see if they built up moisture which they did not. Fingers crossed they hold up over time. |
