Anyone with wrapped/painted V brace on their F80/82?

As stated in topic, has anyone wrapped or painted the V brace on their F80/82? Curious on how it would look as I am wondering about doing it on my AY F82. All pics shared are appreciated

I assume you're referring to the v brace in the front?

Just did mine yesterday. Only did this in 10 minutes but it has some air bubbles so I'll redo it my next day off

Looks good. How did you do it in 10 mins, do you need to remove the bumper?

Well, I lied a bit.

10 minutes to remove the grill

10 minutes to measure cut, and wrap the braces.

I did this “mod” on my previous f30. Process is the same for the F80. I just haven’t had a chance to do it on my F80 yes.
Hope this helps.

I also did it on my F30 but the process was much simple because of the round design and took me like 5 minutes.

Think it might be more difficult to wrap the F80 brace. I was thinking of just painting it.

Thanks for the pics, looking good! Wondering how red would be on my Austin Yellow. I'll try to photoshop it before I try it on.

Had this already had at my F32 with color EBII, now the F83 has a Macao blue and I found until yet no matching color for the V braces. But the work is quick done, thats for sure for a nice and subtle effect.

Only the grill needs to be removed. I wrapped mine also, thought it would be better than painting because it's reversible and more durable than paint since that area takes a lot of rocks, also easier to wrap it than remove the brace and paint it.

I had mine painted when I did the GTS hood. Great little mod, AY has a nice contrast with the black grille. I also have the Eventuri yellow CF scoops.
