Contacted Bimmer-Remote.com for the CarPlay lifetime activation and full screen. Not having scrutinized the 2 packages that are offered for my car I inadvertently selected the more expensive package of the 2 which included the iDrive head unit firmware update to version 6. So glad I did too! Changed the dated look of iDrive on my 2017 340i and once I played around with it a bit I can honestly say it's so worth it! The tech who I had was super responsive to all my preliminary questions before (and after the install) and gave full instructions on what we needed in prep for the install appointment the following day. After the install the tech restored my custom iDrive settings including deactivating the iDrive startup warning. We also determined I needed a WiFi antenna and the tech gave me a link for one from Amazon that is under $10 USD. All in all the price out the door was a quarter of the cost of the other major competitor I considered.

Yes, it can be done.
You need our iDrive 4 to iDrive 6 Flash + CarPlay Fullscreen activation.

Dumbass question: can the GTS performance flash be installed on an M2C, since they have same S55 motor as a baseline?

Looking to squeeze a little more out of my '20 F87 M2C. Also intrigued if the following is possible, if the GTS tune is a no go:
- CS transmission coding if the gearbox is 6speed (I fancy the proper 3 pedals)
- how about the CS engine tune? A relative modest bhp/tq bump over OEM M2C
