Wow…excellent ending. Congratulations and now you will have a challenge like an earlier poster said choosing if you want a different build/color/options...

I guess you never had anything break on you as soon as you bought it? Never heard of defects? This kind of shit happens all the time. They realized it was their fault and took dare it.

Understood my reply is why the f do I care about a loaner for paying 80k for a car after two days??? Rather drive me car than have it in the shop, if you enjoy driving a crappy loaner then good luck and maybe your car will break down for 3 weeks after driving it after 200 miles. I am greatful for what BMW did but let's make it sound like I am the bad guy in this.

Well once you can enjoy it, you definitely will. I know you only had a few hundred miles in yours before it broke, but from only having mine for 2 days and after 450km, it's such a beast of a machine. Crossing my fingers that I don't have any issues but so far everything looks and sounds fine. 1200 miles here I come! (Well, 2000km)

I came home after dinner and everytime I pressed the gas it left me with a huge smile on my face. It's a great car, it does almost everything just about right from power delivery, handling and amazing speed and being nimble for a sedan.

my DCT failed in my car at only 400 miles on it and I don't know if you remember that BMW roadside left us stranded for hours? I'm pretty sure I was the first person to have a failed car on this forum. 4 computer fails while at the dealer, 2 damaged rims by the dealer, was in the shop over 2 weeks. got it back with rattles, oil stained driver mat etc..

I received 1 refunded car payment.
I had a base 3 series loaner
I didn't get a replacement car.

You received a 5 series loaner
2 refunded car payments
and a new car and get to drive this one until the new one arrives.

I cannot believe how much better bmw took care of you than me.

my new car experience was stolen from me. My car works, but doesn't drive the same and I know if I have the dealer mess with it more trying to fix it, it will just get worse. Maybe I should place a call to my guy at BMW NA and let him know I should of had a replacement car from the very beginning.

Rather than wasting time complaining on here, I would be making call after call after call to the top to have them make it right. You're obviously not content with what they did for you, so try harder. No one gets what they want by sitting around and saying "Woe is me", they just get shit done. That call to your guy should have been made on Day 1 of you getting it back and not liking it. Period.

You may want to make a call and see what happens. I followed up everyday with the dealer and called BMW na over 6 times and each time I was nice and pleasant. My service advisor was amazing and helped me quite a bit so props to him, dealer and BMW na.

No, it's not. It's just a car.. Take a deep breath and realize that people have REAL problems, not just a broken car. Some people are poor, starving, fighting cancer......real problem. Our cars just don't work if something goes wrong. Perspective is a great thing to keep.

Or get mad and throw a tantrum if u wish. Whatever works for each person.

Your saga was well documented. Those who remember your episode think u were taken care of given how your stomped your feet repetitively. But play victim, it suits your style well.
