clear coat scratches

Hi guys,

today I was rubbing my finger on the paint surface on what it looked like a little clear coat dust nib anyways I did some fine scratches with my finger nail kind of deep, now I'm wondering is it because the clear coat still soft after a 30 day re spray or the clear coat is very soft, any help would be much appreciated, btw did polished with Rupes aggressive pad all way up but it was hard to get the tiny scratches out.

Thanks

aftermarket paint is typically softer these days.

You should have been able to polish them out though if it was your fingernail.

try heating it up a bit before polishing. or let it sit outside in the sun and then pull it inside, wipe clean, then spot polish
