Could be, but I don't frequent the AMG lounge so I can't compare.

As for your TC light, that's because you have a 'vert and/or because you don't push the car. If you have the top down you get a lot more traction but the penalty is weight of course. That said, you can still break the wheels loose at highway speeds or anytime you're pushing the car, but it's not the default like it is with the other versions.

Yes, I have the F83. Penalized by weight, but still enough oomph to have fun.

I've always theorized that people who see their TC light are probably getting more enjoyment out of their cars than those who don't
This is probably true. I'm all for a spirited drive, just haven't experienced the traction "issues" often described on the boards.

I have to be honest. TC light comes on every time I drive the car

I confess that i sometimes still have problems doing proper drifts with that car as the turbo/torque thing is much more difficult to handle like the old E92 V8...or i'm just a dumbass with a lack of sensivity in my right foot...

Throttle is somewhat difficult to modulate on this platform. It is extremely sensitive in Sport/Sport+ mode yet a little too long in Efficient in my opinion. Takes a lot of getting used to.

I agree with your settings. If I wanted the car to be tame I would just drive my 135i instead.

Since hitting 1,200 miles, I only drove in regular sport (throttle) mode once for about 5 minutes, and then said to myself, "fuck this, this is stupid." I then toggled immediately back to sport+ mode. Also, I have never started my car without hitting the M2 button first (sport+ throttle, sport steering, sport suspension, D3 and traction control on).

Don't judge me. You don't know me.

I had to ghetto rig my BMW front performance lip after the middle section ripped out of the front bumper. I used plastic drywall anchors in the bumper to get threads back and lots of 3m tape. Lets hope it stays.

I have slapped this car into neutral on the highway more times than I care to admit. Problem being is the fact I have driven my 135i for 120k miles. When on the highway in D in order to put it into the DS mode you slap the shifter to the left....It has become such a habit of muscle memory that I do it too often in the M.

Pulled the plug on the fake sound and hold the can flaps open with drywall screws.
Now I can't hear squeaks etc. This thing makes me smile every day, but I really can hardly wait till the next generation comes out.

I have a DCT and never use auto mode, always shift gears by hand, never with paddles.

I felt pretty stupid at first for my cosmetic mods (lip, grilles, side vents, side skirts) but I love the way it looks now. But I'm terrified that the CF side skirts are going to get ruined.

Sometimes before I go to bed, I take a lap around the neighborhood, usually in pajamas. I know, weird.

I ALWAYS back into parking spaces. Ruined a lip on my E92 M3 misjudging distance.

I initially thought DCT meant you would have two clutch pedals, and was absolutely terrified at the prospect of driving such a thing.

I'm actually modulating the throttle now and I understand the power delivery in each gear much better both when making turns/cornering and straight line. With TC on I found I was going WOT a lot and the TC was constantly interrupting. The car is no longer bogging down and it feels much faster even when modulating. I've also found a few sweet spots where you can get some good wheel spin but the car stays planted and predictable which can be a lot of fun!
