hey chaps. whats the verdict on these?

flow forged (not proper forged but forged barrel cast face) vorsteiner

19" and they will fit on my mpss that are sitting in a pile in my office right now.

these will be for summer duty so need to look good without spending forged money! (wife has put her foot down lol)

Personally, I prefer the 437M or 666M.

I find it's hard to get a really decent looking wheel for our cars.

yeah its tough especially in 19" i suppose the issue is the 437M is a forged wheel costing £4500/5000 so when you look to put a set of £2500 wheels on they not surprisingly look like a downgrade. damn it lol.

my 437's have winters on now so ill keep looking for options for summer, those vorsteiners are the best option i can find but hard to beat the 437's

I'm not sure why, but I think they suit this Audi better.

oh yes i see it. the YMB pretender!

whats your thoughts on the vorsteiner wheels mate? im getting really disheartened with all this wheel searching. if i cant find any 19's then its waiting another year until i scrub down the mpss and get 20" wheels and tyres next year. problem is then ill only get use of them for another year until i sell the car. hence wanting to get some now.

AGGHHHH so annoying. its that fu**ing heat shield that causes the problem with fitting. some twat at BMW thought ill stick a shitty heat shield in so all those flash gits with M4's get stones stuck and look like prats screeching around town and as a plus point they wont be able to fit any 19" wheels on!

I think they are OK quite nice actually, but I'd rather have a set of silver 437m to go with your black ones.

There aren't many aftermarket wheels that are as nice as the 19" OEM ones in my opinion, I only like the Volk Te37 Ultras and the HRE classic 3 piece spilt rim but they are silly money.

Yeah nail on head there. I think ok is the best I'll get. If I could afford a set of silver 437m I'd be looking at hre forged lol as they are in the same price bracket lol

Not that i can find. Don't really want more BMW wheels but a second hand set of forged hre or something would be great. I looked this morning and can't see anything

How about some OEM CP wheels from the e92? I loved those on my old e92

UK link

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-BM...3D291343289848

I'm sure I've seen them on the F series M3/4 as well so should fit.

US ebay link but worth a thought.

Hmm nice idea but I very much doubt they will fit. Looking at the barrel they have the lip inside that always catches the heat shield. Thanks for looking for me though mate

Ahh ok. I'm not sure about those though. For me personally I've never liked oem wheels but love the 437m. An older set of BMW oem's wouldn't look right on a newer car. Just my opinion.

I've also been looking for wheels since I got the car, just can't seem to find the one! I have to say I like the standard wheels and with the HAS kit and spacers on made me like them even more

Your cars sits perfect mate and the 437's are a cracking standard alloy.

BMW got it spot on with the design of that one.

Ok I've found one more option.

Inspiri ffr1. Brushed carbon titanium

I'm leaning towards these now. What do you guys think.

Assuming CP - Why is nobody placing 265/30/20 square on the 666M? The 666M wheels are nasty - perfect for winter duties. I may get them powdered coated gloss black.

Are 265s not a bit narrow for the rears?
